Lions Club Need for Feed
You might have heard of the Lions Club Need For Feed project which delivers hay to farmers affected by drought, flood and fire around the country in truck convoys.
At Lions, we are now putting together care packages for farmers, including non-perishable food items and personal care items. We have new collection bins at Emerald Woolworths and would be very grateful to accept donations.
These donations will be sorted, packaged and delivered to farmers in conjunction with our hay runs. A list of acceptable items can be found posted on the bins. If you have a spare few dollars, please consider grabbing an extra something while you’re doing your grocery shopping and drop it in the bin near the main entrance. Let’s help those who feed us! Thanks
