Things to Do – Cardinia Aqueduct Trail
Set in the foothills of the Dandenongs, the Cardinia Aqueduct Trail is a recreational trail ideal for walkers, joggers, horse-riders and bike riders. Five kilometres long, the trail is mostly flat – the main exception being a stretch west of Officer Road – and runs from Pakenham along the Bunyip main race Aqueduct to end near Dickie Road, Officer.

While the trail is not a terribly difficult walk, it is quite isolated. While most people only walk sections of the trail, you will need to bring enough snacks and drinks if you intend to do the full length. Oh, and dogs are allowed… on a leash. It generally takes about an hour to walk, through some very pleasant eucalyptus forest which supports a wide array of native animals and plant species
