Holy moly where did January go? Here we are with the February 2020 Photo Competition.

Last month saw some amazing entries, and a very well deserved congratulations to Adz Fox and Caroline Robinson on their winning entries (they are the images in this post).

A few reminders for the February competition:
1) a selection of entries from the year, including all of the winners, will be combined into a Calendar for 2021, which will be for sale, with all proceeds going to Cardinia Shire CFA Brigades and SES units (and entrants may choose to opt out of this).

2) there are two categories of entries – professional and amateur. In terms of voting, it makes no difference; there will just be two winners each month. In terms of entry, it makes no difference – but please let me know if you are a professional or amateur photographer

3) there is a maximum of three (3) photo entries per person per competition

Technical difficulties have meant the new voting system is still not ready – and at this stage, won’t go ahead, so we’ll continue with he tried and true method currently in use.

So, that pretty much sums it up, except for the standard Ts and Cs and guff… below:

  1. The photo must be taken within the Shire
  2. The photographer should “Like” the Facebook page (nothing new there)
  3. It runs from the 10th of February to Friday, the 28th of February at 5:00 pm..
  4. Photos must be posted (or messaged) to the A Guide to Cardinia Facebook page and tagged “February Photo Competition”, along with where they were taken.
  5. The theme for February is Unity
  6. The photograph does not have to be taken in the same month as the competition it is entered in – but each photo can only be entered once.
Let the clicking and the competition begin!
